Common use of Non-Creditable Service for Longevity Computation Clause in Contracts

Non-Creditable Service for Longevity Computation. a. Any period that an employee is on any leave of absence without pay over a period of 21 consecutive calendar days in a calendar year will be deducted from the creditable service for longevity pay. b. Period or periods of service in the active military service of the United States Armed Forces in which the employee enlisted voluntarily for active service other than period of wartime or national emergency. c. Suspension periods as a result of disciplinary action. Computation: Periods of creditable permanent full-time employment as defined in Article 26 of this Agreement with the County of Xxxxx shall be considered for the purpose of computing longevity eligibility.
