Pay Benefits. Those employees who have been assigned by the Fire Chief to stand-by duty shall be entitled to stand-by pay at the rate of one-quarter (1/4) of their base hourly rate for each one (1) hour period of stand-by duty. When an employee is called back to work while on stand-by duty, stand-by pay shall stop and the employee shall be paid at their time and one-half (1½) hourly rate from the time of the page or call. The provisions of Section 2, Article C, shall apply. When an employee is no longer required to be on duty, employee may be placed back on stand-by duty status or released to off-duty status.
Pay Benefits. If the teacher does not grieve a suspension without pay or if he/she does grieve a suspension without pay and does not prevail in the grievance, the resulting loss of pay will be reflected in the remaining paychecks for that year on a pro-rata basis. All benefits will continue in force during any suspension (except a Step 5 suspension, with or without pay) as contained in Section 14.

Those employees who have been directed by the Police Chief Police Chief or designee to Standby Duty on other than a normal work schedule during a given week shall be entitled to standby pay at the rate of one-fourth (1/4) hour pay at the base pay hourly rate for time worked. In the event the employee is called out to perform work while on Standby Duty, employee shall receive time and one-half" (1½) pay for the hours actually worked, regardless of the provisions of Section 2, Article C.

Those Employees who have been directed by the Department Head or designee to Stand-By Duty on other than their normal work schedule during a given work week shall be entitled to stand-by pay at the rate of one- third (1/3) hour pay at the regular base hourly rate for each one (1) hour period of stand-by duty.time worked. In the event the Employee is called out to perform work while on Stand-By Duty, she/hethe employee shall be paid at a time and one-half (1½) basis for the hours actually worked. In no circumstances will an employee be paid stand-by and overtime at the same time.

SECTION 1. - Upon retirement, death, resignation, or termination, employees shall be paid for all accumulated but unpaid vacation, sick leave, compensatory time, holiday pay, regular pay, overtime pay and longevity pay owed to them as of the last date of employment. In case of death, the above payments shall be made to the employee's estate or designated survivor.
Pay Benefits. This teleworking arrangement does not change the basic terms and conditions of employment, including rate of pay and benefits. Employees are expected to apply with all Employer policies, procedures and performance standards.
