Common use of Non-Economic Conditions Clause in Contracts

Non-Economic Conditions. 27 The Employer agrees that, in accordance with the current Civil Service 28 Commission Rules and Regulations, terms and conditions of employment which 29 are deemed to be mandatory subjects of bargaining which are in effect on the 30 effective date of this Agreement will continue in effect throughout the life of this 31 Agreement under the conditions upon which they were previously granted, 32 unless otherwise provided for or abridged by this Agreement or the Civil Service 33 Commission, or unless altered by mutual agreement between the Employer and 34 the Union through good faith negotiations and approved by the Civil Service 35 Commission. 36 37 If, in the course of making determinations on matters not deemed to be 38 mandatory subjects of bargaining, such determinations will produce substantial 39 adverse impact upon such conditions of employment, the Employer will negotiate 40 in good faith the modification and remedy of such resulting impact. 41 42 43 44 45 46
