Training Conditions. 3.1 The Trainee shall attend an approved training course or training program prescribed in the Training Agreement or as notified to the trainee by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes. 3.2 Employment as a trainee under these provisions shall not commence until the relevant Training Agreement, made in accordance with a Training Scheme, has been signed by the employer and the trainee and lodged for registration with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority, provided that if the Training Agreement is not in a standard format employment as a trainee shall not commence until the Training Agreement has been registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority. The employer shall ensure that the Trainee is permitted to attend the training course or program provided for in the Training Agreement and shall ensure that the Trainee receives the appropriate on the job training. 3.3 The employer shall provide a level of supervision in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement during the traineeship period. 3.4 The provisions of the relevant State and Territory legislation dealing with the monitoring by officers of the relevant State or Territory Training Authority and the use of training records or work books as part of this monitoring process shall apply to traineeships under these provisions.

Training Conditions. The arrangements between the Employer and the trainee in relation to training are as specified in the Traineeship Training Agreement, as administered by the Department of Training and Workforce Development.
Training Conditions. 2.1.1 The training conditions of apprentices and trainees shall be as prescribed under the Training and Employment Act 2000, the Training and Employment Regulation 2000, and approved guidelines, policies and procedures as amended from time to time. 2.1.2 The apprentice or trainee shall be permitted by the employer to undertake supervised training in the qualification in accordance with the provisions of the Training and Employment Act 2000, as amended from time to time 2.1.3 During the probationary period, the employer shall ensure that a training plan for each apprentice or trainee is negotiated and signed in accordance with the provisions of the Training and Employment Act 2000 as amended from time to time and that the supervising registered training organisation identifies in the training plan the competencies already possessed by the apprentice or trainee or recognition of prior learning relative to the qualification to be undertaken. 2.1.4 Employers shall ensure apprentices and trainees, including those employed on shiftwork, are supervised to the extent required under the Training and Employment Act 2000, and approved guidelines and policies as amended from time to time. 2.1.5 It is the responsibility of the relevant supervising registered training organisation to conduct ongoing assessment of the apprentice or trainee in conjunction with the employer, and in accordance with the timeframes specified in the training plan. This ongoing assessment is to ensure that the apprentice or trainee is making adequate progress towards the achievement of competencies. All competencies achieved shall be recorded in the training record on a regular basis in accordance with the Training and Employment Regulation 2000.
Training Conditions. 3.2.1 The Trainee shall attend an Approved Training course or training program prescribed in the Training Contract or as notified to the Trainee by the Training Recognition Council in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes. 3.2.2 In accordance with the provisions of the Training and Employment Act 2000, a Traineeship shall commence on the date agreed to by the employer and the person who is to become a Trainee and a Training Contract shall be completed by the parties to the Training Contract before the probationary period ends. 3.2.3 The employer shall provide a level of supervision in accordance with the Training Contract during the Traineeship period. 3.2.4 The employer agrees that the overall training program will be monitored by officers of Training Recognition Council and training records or work books may be utilised as part of this monitoring process. 3.2.5 Training is to be directed at: (a) the achievement of key competencies required for successful participation in the workplace (where these have not been achieved) (e.g. literacy, numeracy, problem solving, team work, using technology), and as are proposed to be included in the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Level 1 qualification. This could be achieved through foundation competencies which are part of endorsed competencies for an industry or enterprise; and/or (b) the achievement of competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these competencies), as are proposed to be included in the AQF Level 2 qualification or above.

The Company shall ensure that the Trainee is permitted to attend the training course or program provided for in the Traineeship Agreement and shall ensure that the Trainee receives the appropriate on-the-job training. 7.4.3 The Company shall provide a level of supervision in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement during the traineeship period. 7.4.4 The Company agrees that the overall training program will be monitored by officers of the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or NETTFORCE and that training records or work books may be utilised as part of this monitoring process. 7.4.5 Training shall be directed at: a) the achievement of key competencies required for successful participation in the workplace (where these have not been achieved) (eg. Literacy, numeracy, problem solving, team work, using technology), and as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Level 1 qualification. This could be achieved through foundation competencies which are part of endorsed competencies for an industry or enterprise; and/or b) the achievement of competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these competencies), as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Level 2 qualification or above.

Employment as a Trainee does not commence until the relevant Training Agreement, made in accordance with the Training Scheme, has been signed by Shell Logistics and the Trainee and lodged for registration with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority, provided that if the Training Agreement is not in a standard format, employment as a Trainee shall not commence until the Training Agreement has been registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority. 2.3. Shell Logistics shall ensure that Trainees are permitted to attend the training course program provided for in the Training Agreement and shall ensure that the Trainees receive the appropriate on-the-job training. 2.4. Shell Logistics shall provide a level of supervision of Trainees in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement during the Traineeship period.

Training Conditions. (a) A Jobskills trainee shall attend approved on and off-the-job training prescribed in the relevant training agreement, or as notified to the Jobskills trainee by the employer or agent. (b) Jobskills trainees will receive over a period of up to 26 weeks a mix of supervised work experience, structured training on-the-job and off-the-job and the opportunity to practice new skills in a work environment. (c) Jobskills trainees may only be engaged by employers to undertake activities under the Jobskills program guidelines. The employer shall ensure that the Jobskills trainee is permitted to attend the prescribed off-the-job and is provided appropriate on-the-job training. (d) The employer shall provide an appropriate level of supervision in accordance with the approved training plan.
Training Conditions. D. 3.1 The Trainee or Apprentice shall attend an approved training course or training program prescribed in the Traineeship or Apprenticeship Agreement or as notified to the trainee/apprentice by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes or Registered Training Organisation, without loss of wages or continuity of employment.
