Non-Instructional Operations. Contractor License, Surety Bonds, and Insurance The school may hire staff or contract with a service provider for services such as transportation, food service, accounting, business management, or other business or educational services. All contract service providers are required to have adequate limits of liability insurance as determined by the Board or other state requirement and will maintain the same throughout any contract period. A list of all contracts identifying the party with whom XXXX has contracted, the length of the contract, and the expenditures required by the contract must be submitted to the Authorized Chartering Entity for its review no later than thirty (30) days prior to the opening of school and thereafter, annually. No contract will be let to any contractor who is not licensed as required by the laws of Idaho. Before any contract is awarded to any person, such person will furnish to AHCS performance and payment bonds that will become binding upon award of the contract to a contractor as follows: a. Performance bonds in an amount not less than eighty five percent (85%) of the contract amount for the sole protection of AHCS; and b. Payment bond in an amount less than eighty five percent (85%) of the contract amount for the protection of persons supplying labor or materials, or renting or otherwise supplying equipment to the contractor and/or his subcontractors in the prosecution of the work performed under the contract.
