Non-Instructional Days. 1. Five (5) of the non-instructional days in the School Calendar shall be used for teacher professional development activities.
Non-Instructional Days. 1. Non-instructional days shall be considered as instructional days for salary purposes.
Non-Instructional Days. Non-instructional days occurring during an assignment shall count as a day of work for purposes of determining consecutive days in Article B.2.6.a and, if requested by the Administrator to attend, shall be paid.
Non-Instructional Days. Part-time. Each part-time faculty member shall be compensated for attendance of a maximum of twenty four (24) hours of college-wide in-service scheduled activities every academic year. Part-time faculty will be compensated at their hourly rate for all hours attended.
Non-Instructional Days. 1. A minimum of half of any non-instructional days shall be used for Teacher Professional Development activities as determined by the Professional Development Committee and/or school staff(s).
Non-Instructional Days. 1. a. Subject to the school calendar the Board agrees to make provision to use up to five (5) non-instruction days for the purpose of teacher professional development. The use of two (2) of these days shall be determined by individual schools' staff and the third may be planned by the Professional Development Committee as a District Pro D Day. Any additional days available may be used at the Board's discretion for professional development purposes or other approved activities in meeting District objectives.

All of the available non-instructional days as stated in Section D, Article D.23.1.a.i shall be used for teacher professional development activities, organized by the school Principal and school staff and/or school Pro-D Committee and/or the Joint MRTA Board Professional Development Committee.
