Non-Lump Sum Distribution. If the Participant's entire interest ------------------------- will be distributed in other than a lump sum, then the minimum distribution for a calendar year equals the Participant's Nonforfeitable Account Balance as of the last Valuation Date preceding the beginning of the calendar year divided by the Participant's life expectancy or, if applicable, the joint and last survivor expectancy of the Participant and his or her Designated Beneficiary, subject to the requirements of Code Section 401(a)(9) and the applicable Treasury regulations. The Committee will increase the Participant's Nonforfeitable Account Balance, as determined on the relevant Valuation Date, for Contributions or Forfeitures allocated after the Valuation Date and by December 31 of the Valuation Calendar Year, and will decrease the valuation by distributions made after the Valuation Date and by December 31 of the Valuation Calendar Year. For purposes of this valuation, the Committee will treat any portion of the minimum distribution for the first Distribution Calendar Year made after the close of that year as a distribution occurring in the first Distribution Calendar Year. Life expectancy and joint and last survivor expectancy must be computed by the use of the expected return multiples contained in Section 1.72-9 of the Income Tax Regulations. Unless otherwise elected by the Participant, or Spouse in the case of distributions described in this Section 6.4(b), by the time distributions are required to begin, life expectancies shall be recalculated annually. The election shall be irrevocable for the Participant, or spouse, and shall apply to all subsequent years. The life expectancy of a non- spouse Beneficiary may not be recalculated.

  • Death During Distribution of a Benefit If the Executive dies after any benefit distributions have commenced under this Agreement but before receiving all such distributions, the Bank shall distribute to the Beneficiary the remaining benefits at the same time and in the same amounts they would have been distributed to the Executive had the Executive survived.

  • Distribution of Benefits Members of this unit with at least one year of the service to the District may apply for a number of days consistent with a one-for-one match of their individual sick leave accumulation as of the end of the previous contract year brought forward to the year of the onset of disability. The combined benefit of accumulated personal sick leave and disability bank leave may not exceed one hundred-eighty days and may carry over from one contract year to another. Employees with less than one full year of service in the District will not be require to contribute one of their individual accumulated sick leave days to the disability bank. The Board reviews the right to request re-application and documentation from anyone requesting more than forty (40) days from the pool. You must file IRS Form 5329 along with your income tax return to report and remit any additional taxes to the IRS.

  • Survivor Benefit Upon the death of a regular employee who leaves a spouse and/or dependants enrolled in the Medical Services Plan, Dental Plan and Extended Health Benefit Plan, such enrolment may continue for twelve (12) months following the employee’s death, provided the enrolled family members pay the employee’s share of the cost of the premium for the plans. The Employer shall advise the survivor of this benefit.

  • Contract Distribution The Employer will provide all current and new employees with a link to the new Agreement. Each department or unit will maintain a paper copy of the contract accessible to all employees.
