Non-Tenured Employment. A faculty member employed by Oakland shall serve without tenure or job security until granted tenure or job security by Oakland pursuant to the processes described below. These processes are not applicable to visiting and part-time faculty. However, each academic unit shall establish and publish a statement of its procedures and criteria for making recommendations on employment and re-employment of visiting and part-time faculty.
