Nondiscrimination Clause. 2-1 The parties agree to follow a policy of not discriminating against any employee on the basis of race, color, creed, age, national or ethnic origin, sex, handicap/disability or marital status or membership or participation in an association with the activities of any employee organization in compliance with Rhode Island statutes. 2-2 The School Committee agrees that any teacher shall be free to join or not to join any teacher organization and the Committee further agrees that the administration shall neither discourage nor encourage membership in any teacher organization.
