NOT TO ACCEPT INDUCEMENT. An Employee must not accept any payment or other benefit in money or in any kind from any person as an inducement or reward for any act in connection with any matter of business transacted by or on behalf of the Employer. Such action shall be deemed to be serious misconduct giving rise to termination of the employment contract forthwith.

  • ON-THE-JOB INJURY (a) If an employee is injured to such an extent that they are obliged to cease work, their wages will continue for the balance of the day on which the injury occurred.

  • Work-Related Injury or Illness In the event of an eligible employee’s absence from work being due to work related injury or work related illness, contributions at the normal rate will continue for the period of the absence provided that:

  • Non-Exclusive Relationship The relationship between the parties is a non-exclusive one, which allows the Contractor and the Principal to engage in other activities, provided that all of the terms and conditions under this Agreement are strictly observed, including the avoidance of conflicts of interests. Notwithstanding the foregoing:

  • ON THE JOB INJURIES An employee who suffers a work-related illness or injury must report that illness or injury to his or her supervisor within twenty-four (24) hours, unless the employee is prevented by incapacity from doing so. If the illness or injury is one for which time-loss payments are provided through the workers’ compensation system, the employee may choose to receive only such time-loss payment, or may choose to use paid leave in combination with workers’ compensation benefits as follows:

  • - DETERMINING THE FINAL GRANT II.17.1 Without prejudice to information obtained subsequently pursuant to Article II.20, the Commission shall adopt the amount of the final payment to be granted to the beneficiaries on the basis of the documents referred to in Article II.15.4 which it has approved.

  • What Will Happen After We Receive Your Letter When we receive your letter, we must do two things:

  • Work Unit and Employees Covered (Detailed and specific description of department and employees covered.)

  • Compensable Work-Related Injury or Illness Leave An employee who sustains a work-related illness or injury that is compensable under the state workers’ compensation law may select time-loss compensation exclusively or leave payments in addition to time-loss compensation. Employees who take sick leave, vacation leave or compensatory time during a period in which they receive time-loss compensation will receive full sick leave, vacation leave or compensatory time pay in addition to any time-loss payments. Notwithstanding Section 18.1, of Article 18, Leave Without Pay, the Employer may separate an employee in accordance with Article 31, Reasonable Accommodation and Disability Separation.
