Notice and Consultation Regarding Outsourcing. In the event of layoffs of more than ten (10) employees due to outsourcing, the Company will notify the union not less than fourteen days before the beginning of any notice period required by this contract and will consult with the union concerning the outsourcing decision and effects on employees, provided that the Company will retain the sole right to determine whether to outsource jobs and whether to lay off employees.
