Notice, Conference, and Mitigation Actions. Without limitation of the Pandemic Plan, the Health and Safety Plan, or any other provision of this Ground Lease, in the event that the Lessor, the Lessee, the Developer, or the Contractor determines or becomes aware that a Pandemic Delay and/or Pandemic Costs are likely to occur, such party shall provide notice thereof to the other parties in writing, by email, and by telephone within five (5) calendar days. The Lessor, the Lessee, the Developer, and the Contractor shall confer in person or by telephone within two (2) Business Days after the delivery of such notice to agree in good faith upon the actions to be taken, in addition to any actions that may be required by the Pandemic Plan and the Health and Safety Plan, to: (i) reduce the likelihood and duration of any Pandemic Delay; (ii) mitigate or offset any Pandemic Delay; (iii) reduce the likelihood and magnitude of any Pandemic Costs; and (iv) mitigate or offset any Pandemic Costs (collectively, “Mitigation Actions”). The Lessor, the Lessee, the Developer, and the Contractor shall diligently, continuously, expeditiously, and in good faith pursue and complete all Mitigation Actions that are the respective obligations of the Lessor, the Lessee, the Developer, and the Contractor.

If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES 24.01 Special conferences for important matters will be arranged between the union and the Human Resources Officer or designee, upon the request of either party. Such meetings shall be between the Union representatives and representatives of the Board. Arrangements for such special conferences shall be made in advance and an agenda of the matters to be taken up at the meeting shall be presented at the time the conference is requested.   • Preparatory Contract Negotiations Meetings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to an employee to attend preparatory contract negotiations meetings.

  • Cooperation with Inspector General Grantee understands its duty, pursuant to Section 20.055(5), Fla. Stat., to cooperate with Florida Housing’s Inspector General in any investigation, audit, inspection, review, or hearing.   • School Conference and Activities Leave Leaves of absence without pay of up to a total of sixteen (16) hours during any twelve (12) month period for the purpose of attending school, pre-school or child care provider conferences and classroom activities of the employee's child, provided that such conferences and classroom activities cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. When the need for the leave is foreseeable, the employee shall provide reasonable prior notice of the leave to their immediate supervisor and shall make a reasonable effort to schedule the leave so as not to disrupt the operations of the Employer. Employees may use accumulated vacation benefits or accumulated compensatory time for the duration of such leaves.

  • Informal Conference Prior to the filing of a grievance, in an effort to resolve the issue(s), the grievant shall make reasonable attempts to initiate / discuss or an attempt to initiate / discuss the issue(s) informally with the grievant’s Principal or Supervisor.
