Notice of and Waiver of Notice for GUC Trustee and GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee Meetings. Notice of the time and place (but not necessarily the purpose or all of the purposes) of any meeting will be given to the GUC Trustee and the members of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee in person or by telephone, or via electronic mail or facsimile transmission. Notice to the GUC Trustee and the members of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee of any such special meeting will be deemed given sufficiently in advance when (i) if given by mail, the same is deposited in the United States mail at least ten (10) calendar days before the meeting date, with postage thereon prepaid, (ii) if given by electronic mail or facsimile transmission, the same is transmitted at least 24 hours prior to the convening of the meeting, or (iii) if personally delivered (including by overnight courier) or given by telephone, the same is handed, or the substance thereof is communicated over the telephone to the GUC Trustee and the members of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee or to an adult member of his/her office staff or household, at least 24 hours prior to the convening of the meeting. The GUC Trustee and any member of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee may waive notice of any meeting and any adjournment thereof at any time before, during, or after it is held, as provided by law. Except as provided in the next sentence below, the waiver must be in writing, signed by the GUC Trustee or the applicable member or members of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee entitled to the notice, and filed with the minutes or records of the GUC Trust. The attendance of the GUC Trustee or a member of the GUC Trust Beneficiary Committee at a meeting shall constitute a waiver of notice of such meeting, except when the person attends a meeting for the express purpose of objecting, at the beginning of the meeting, to the transaction of any business because the meeting is not lawfully called or convened.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Notice of Board Meetings Notice of Board meetings shall be given by the Chair or the Chair’s designee to each other Board Member by overnight courier service, email or other electronic transmission, or personal delivery.   • Administrative Procedure iTrip staff will administer and determine whether a damage qualifies as Covered Damage.
