Notice of Closure of Streets. Except in cases of emergency, the Company shall notify the City not less than three (3) working days in advance of any construction, reconstruction, repair, or relocation of facilities which would require any street closure which reduces traffic flow to less than two lanes of moving traffic. Except in the event of an emergency, as reasonably determined by the Company, no such closure shall take place without prior authorization from the City. In addition, all work performed in the traveled way or which in any way impacts vehicular or pedestrian traffic shall be properly signed, barricaded, and otherwise protected as required by Section 4.7, above.

  • Notice of Shift Change The Co-operative agrees to give forty-eight (48) hours' notice when changing a full-time employee's shift, except in the event of an emergency (an emergency is defined as snowstorm, or flood, or breakdown of machinery, or other instances of force majeure or an unscheduled absence of an employee). Should the Co-operative fail to give forty-eight (48) hours' notice of a shift change as indicated above, each affected employee shall receive double (2) time their regular hourly rate of pay for all time worked on the new shift. Mutual agreement of employees to shift changes between each other shall not be deemed covered by this clause, (i.e. the Co- operative will not pay a penalty for this type of a shift change). Such shift changes require the prior approval of management. The Co-operative agrees that wherever possible it shall verbally advise part-time employees twenty-four (24) hours in advance when the Co-operative changes an employee's posted work schedule.

  • Notification of Delivery Destination Prior to final acceptance of contract requirements by STATE, PURCHASER shall notify STATE, in a form and manner prescribed by STATE, of the delivery destination of all timber purchased under this contract. STATE may hold PURCHASER's performance bond until satisfactory delivery destination information has been received. Notice of Transfer of State Timber. Prior to selling, trading, exchanging, or otherwise conveying unprocessed timber sold under this contract to any other person, PURCHASER must first obtain a certification of the person's eligibility to purchase unprocessed State timber, and their intent to comply with the terms and conditions contained in OAR 629-031-0005 through 629-031-0045. The certification shall be made in a form and manner prescribed by STATE, and shall be forwarded to STATE upon completion of the transaction. Obtaining the certification shall not relieve PURCHASER of the responsibility to provide STATE with an accounting of the delivery destination of that timber.

  • Notice to Employees Contractor must give notice in writing to its employees who perform work on this Contract, either at the time of hire or before commencement of work on this Contract, or by posting a notice in a location frequented by employees, of the number of hours per day and days per week that the employees may be required to work.

  • NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES REGARDING THE SAFELY SURRENDERED BABY LAW The Contractor shall notify and provide to its employees, and shall require each Subcontractor to notify and provide to its employees, a fact sheet regarding the Safely Surrendered Baby Law, its implementation in Los Angeles County, and where and how to safely surrender a baby.   • Notice of Unauthorized Use The Receiving Party will notify the Disclosing Party immediately upon discovery of any unauthorized use or disclosure of Confidential Information or any other breach of this Agreement by Receiving Party. The Receiving Party will cooperate with the Disclosing Party in every reasonable way to help the Disclosing Party regain possession of such Confidential Information and prevent its further unauthorized use.
