NOTICES FOR HOLIDAYS. The Contractor shall provide notice to each Customer that will be affected by a change in their Scheduled Collection Days because of a Holiday. The Contractor shall publish the notice in the newspaper of general circulation that has the largest number of subscriptions in Broward County. The newspaper notice shall be published at least three (3) days before the Holiday. The Contractor also shall place the notice on the Contractor’s website at least ten (10) days before the Holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.
