Notices to New Employees. The Employer will notify each newly employed member of the bargaining unit of representation by the Union. Time shall be provided at each new employee orientation so that the Union may distribute to each nurse a copy of this Agreement and copies of the Union membership material. The Union will be allowed a reasonable time during initial employee orientation for explanation of AFSCME benefits and bargaining representative matters.
