Notification of Return. The unit member shall include in his/her request the intended date of return. A leave of absence approved by the Board shall include the starting and ending date of the leave of absence. All full year leaves will end by the start of the next school year. Professional improvement leaves will be granted for either one (1) semester or one (1) year only, and a leave of absence for “personal” reasons will not be granted under this provision.
