NUMBER OF HOLIDAYS FOR SHIFT WORKERS. Except as provided in subsection 9C. hereof, no employee assigned to shift work shall receive a greater or lesser number of holidays in any calendar year than employees regularly assigned to work during the normal workweek.

D. hereof, no employee assigned to shift work shall receive a greater or lesser number of holidays in any calendar year than employees regularly assigned to work during the normal workweek, regardless of how the holiday is compensated. The intent of this Section is to compensate each employee for each holiday defined in Section 9.A. whether compensation is in cash or time off.

The intent of this section is to compensate each employee for each holiday defined in Section 9.A. above, whether compensation is in cash or time off.
