Common use of NURSE/MIDWIFE IN-CHARGE ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

NURSE/MIDWIFE IN-CHARGE ALLOWANCE. 9.4.1 A Nurse/Midwife In-Charge Allowance will be paid to a RN/RM1 in a particular patient care area whenever a higher-level nurse/midwife is not rostered to be on duty. Only 1 payment of the allowance will be made in respect of any one shift. Provided that a RN/RM1 who is in receipt of a Responsibility Allowance will not be entitled to also receive the Nurse/Midwife In-Charge Allowance.
