OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT. The parties agree that subsequent to the execution of this Memorandum of Understanding and during the period of time said Memorandum is pending before the Board of Supervisors for action, neither SEIU Local 721, nor Management, nor their authorized representatives, will appear before the Board of Supervisors or meet with members of the Board of Supervisors individually to advocate any amendment, addition or deletion to the terms and conditions of this Memorandum of Understanding. It is further understood that this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the Board of Supervisors nor meeting with individual members of the Board of Supervisors to advocate or urge the adoption and approval of this Memorandum of Understanding in its entirety.
OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT. The parties agree that prior to the implementation of this MOU and during the period of time it is being considered by the Mayor, Council, Council Committees, and heads of those departments represented herein for action, neither the Association nor Management, nor their authorized representatives, will appear before the Mayor, the Council, Council Committees, or said departmental heads, nor will the parties meet with the Mayor, members of the Council, or said department heads individually to advocate any addition or deletion to the terms and conditions of this MOU. However, this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the Mayor, the Council, Council Committees or department heads, nor from meeting with individual members of the Council or department heads, to advocate or urge adoption and approval of this MOU.
OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT. The Union and Management agree that during the period this MOU is being considered by the Mayor, City Council, Council Committees, or the heads of those departments, offices or bureaus who are parties hereto, neither Management, the Union, nor their authorized representatives will meet or communicate with any of the foregoing public officials to advocate any addition, deletion or other change to the terms and conditions of this MOU. However, this Article shall neither preclude Management, the Union nor any of their authorized representatives from communicating with said public officials to advocate the adoption of this MOU.

During the period of time the proposed MOU is being considered by the Mayor, City Council, Council Committees, or the Commissions of those departments where the Commission is the Department head, neither the Association nor Management, nor their authorized representatives, will appear before the Mayor, City Council, Council Committees, or said Commissions, nor meet with the members of the City Council or said Commissioners individually to advocate any addition or deletion to the terms and conditions of this MOU. However, this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the Mayor, City Council, Council Committees or said Commissions, nor meeting with individual members of the City Council or said Commissioners to advocate or urge the adoption of this MOU.

However, this Article shall not preclude the parties to this MOU from appearing before the Mayor, City Council, City Council Committees or department, office, or bureau heads nor meeting with individual members of the City Council, or department, office, or bureau heads to advocate the adoption and approval of this MOU.

The parties agree that prior to the implementation of the MOU and during the period of time it is being considered by the Board, neither the employee organization nor the Department, nor any of their authorized representatives, shall appear before said Board, the Mayor, the City Council, or individual members of said Board or Council individually to advocate any addition to or deletion from the terms and conditions of this MOU. However, this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the Board, the Mayor or any other elected official to advocate or urge the adoption and approval of this MOU.

However, this Article shall not preclude the parties from meeting with the Mayor, City Council, Council Committee or City Attorney to advocate or urge the adoption and approval of this MOU.
OBLIGATION TO SUPPORT. The parties agree that subsequent to the execution of this Memorandum of Understanding and during the period of time said Memorandum is before the Board of Supervisors, neither CWA nor County Fire Administration, nor their authorized representatives will appear before the Board of Supervisors individually or collectively to advocate any amendment, addition or deletion to the terms and conditions of this Memorandum of Understanding. It is further understood that this Article shall not preclude the parties from appearing before the Board of Supervisors nor meeting with individual members of the Board of Supervisors to advocate or urge the adoption and approval of this Memorandum of Understanding in its entirety.
