Common use of Occupational: Workers’ Compensation Leave Clause in Contracts

Occupational: Workers’ Compensation Leave. An employee may request a leave of absence for an employee’s work-related injury or illness. The allowance, length and terms of this leave will be governed by state and/or federal laws, including workers’ compensation laws. Such leaves shall not exceed one (1) year unless a longer period is legally required.
