Common use of Officer in Charge Clause in Contracts

Officer in Charge. The decision to designate a police officer as Officer In Charge is at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police who will make that decision based on what is best for the College given the available personnel. In the event that a police officer is designated as the Officer In Charge, such officer shall receive their regular rate of pay plus an additional one-dollar and twenty five cents ($1.25) per hour for each hour worked in that capacity.
