OIL TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE. 1. Ten (10) per cent of the basic wage on tanker ships transporting fuel oil, crude oil or lubricating oil and/or comparable substances. The allowance is paid on board tanker vessels transporting com- pressed, liquid or liquefied gases, flammable liquids, substances that may self-ignite and create flam- mable gases when in contact with water, organic peroxides, oxidising substances, toxic substances, pollutants or other hazardous substances. When the vessel is in port, the allowance is paid for no more than 20 days after arriving in port. However, the allowance is always paid for the time when the vessel is fully or partially loaded and has to remain in port and/or roadstead.

  • Transport Allowance In partial modification of Clause 10 of the Bipartite Settlement dated 2nd June 2005, Transport Allowance shall be paid as under with effect from 1st November, 2007. Clerical and Subordinate Staff Upto 15th stage of the scale of Pay - Rs. 225/- per month 16th stage of the scale of Pay and above - Rs. 275/- per month Note:

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of 2400 - 0600 hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of forty cents (40 cents) per kilometre (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare. Where the Hospital requires the employee to travel between sites, the Hospital will pay for transportation costs of forty (40) cents per kilometre unless the Hospital provides transportation between sites.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.
