ON-THE-JOB INJURY BENEFITS. When a teacher's absences arise from a temporary disability as a result of injury or assault when the teacher is on official duty and acting in accordance with Board Policy, the Board will reimburse the teacher the difference between his/her current net* wage and the compensation received as a part of workmen's compensation and/or KPERS disability, for the duration of the contract. *net pay - pay due an employee after taxes have been deducted.
