Common use of One-Year Review Clause in Contracts

One-Year Review. An employee may request a review of any material relating to discipline or unsatisfactory job performance that appears in the personnel file after the material has been in the file for one (1) year. This review will be conducted only upon request of the affected employee. The purpose of this review is to determine whether sufficient corrective action has been made by the employee to warrant removal of such material from the employee’s official personnel file. The review will be conducted by the immediate supervisor and the Division Director. Performance Reviews shall not be eligible for removal from an employee’s Personnel File.
