Common use of Opening of Bids Clause in Contracts

Opening of Bids. i. The Procuring Agency shall initially open only the envelope marked “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL” in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the time, on the date, and at the place specified in the Invitation for Bids. The bidders’ representatives who are present shall sign the Attendance Sheet evidencing their attendance. However, the envelope marked as “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL” if it is sealed shall be retained in the custody of Procuring Agency without being opened and till completion of the evaluation process.
