Operation Methods. IBM will appoint leaders from within its Research and Development Divisions to act as Technical Advocates of IBM’s technical and research staff working with UK researchers. These leaders will reside within IBM’s research and development labs but will be frequent visitors to STFC and will also take an active role in some of the projects and technical outreach work. While at IBM, they will co-ordinate the IBM end of research activities, and will host the UK staff and students as visitors to IBM Research/Development Facilities. STFC will similarly appoint a Research Coordinator from its organisation to act as the main points of contract for the IBM staff involved in different activities. IBM will appoint a Project Executive whose role it is to ensure that IBM’s resources, including those of subcontractors, working in STFC are meeting the contractual commitments to help ensure that the overall project objectives are met. The Project Executive will also have day to day responsibility for IBM’s engagement with the Industrial community related to the project and will also coordinate IBM’s sales and business development activities associated with the project. STFC will appoint a Collaboration Project Director to act as the main point of contact for the Project Executive appointed by IBM. These roles represent IBM’s and STFC’s interest in the research and development activities and will coordinate directly on the selection and prioritisation of projects.

  • SPECIALIZED SERVICE REQUIREMENTS In the event that the Participating Entity requires service or specialized performance requirements not addressed in this Contract (such as e- commerce specifications, specialized delivery requirements, or other specifications and requirements), the Participating Entity and the Supplier may enter into a separate, standalone agreement, apart from this Contract. Sourcewell, including its agents and employees, will not be made a party to a claim for breach of such agreement.

  • Forecasting Requirements 19.5.1 The Parties shall exchange technical descriptions and forecasts of their Interconnection and traffic requirements in sufficient detail necessary to establish the Interconnections necessary for traffic completion to and from all Customers in their respective designated service areas.
