Common use of Opportunity for Joint Meeting and Recommendation Clause in Contracts

Opportunity for Joint Meeting and Recommendation. At such time as persons are being interviewed for positions on the faculty, an opportunity for a joint meeting involving the candidate(s), department chairperson and faculty of the appropriate department will be provided. The recommendation of the faculty will be submitted to the department chairperson and the Vice President for Faculty and Academic Affairs.

At such time as persons are being interviewed for full-time positions on the faculty, an opportunity for a joint meeting involving the candidate(s)appropriate Program Coordinator/Supervisor, department chairperson the candidate, and faculty members of the appropriate respective department will be provided. The recommendation of the faculty will be submitted to the department chairperson and the Vice President for Faculty and Academic Affairsmade available.
