Oral History Research Activities. Interviewing old people in a locality is an important technique to find out about local history. Students in a History Club can review some interesting topics and try to find out more about them by talking with old people, monks, and others who might know something about the historical past of a place. These inter- views should lead to a short report of 2 to 5 pages that talks about a selected topic. The report should also include drawings, pictures, and diagrams as necessary.
