Common use of Oral Step Clause in Contracts

Oral Step. (a) An employee having a dispute concerning the interpretation or application of a specific term or provision of this Agreement may, within ten (10) days following the act or omission giving rise thereto, or the date on which the employee knew or reasonably should have known of such act or omission, whichever is later, file a grievance by presenting the grievance orally to the employee's faculty supervisor. At the time the grievance is filed, the grievant shall identify it as such.
