Oral Step. (a) An employee having a dispute concerning the interpretation or application of a specific term or provision of this Agreement may, within ten (10) days following the act or omission giving rise thereto, or the date on which the employee knew or reasonably should have known of such act or omission, whichever is later, file a grievance by presenting the grievance orally to the employee's faculty supervisor. At the time the grievance is filed, the grievant shall identify it as such. (b) The faculty supervisor, and the college xxxx, if appropriate, shall discuss the grievance with the grievant and/or the grievant's representative, if any, and shall issue a decision within ten (10) days following the date the grievance is filed at the Oral Step.
