Common use of ORIENTATION – NEW TEACHERS Clause in Contracts

ORIENTATION – NEW TEACHERS. Teachers who have not previously attended an orientation day may be required to attend a special new teachers orientation day preceding the reporting day for other teachers. New teachers shall be paid a stipend, providing professional development funds are available, for additional required orientation days. Either prior to or after the completion of the agenda of this meeting, scheduled by the Superintendent, the Association will be afforded the opportunity to present and discuss items of interest to new personnel.
