OTES Committee. 1. The committee shall be chaired jointly by a committee member from the Association and a committee member appointed by the Board. 2. The committee shall be comprised of up to five (5) members appointed by the Association who are already OTES trained and up to five (5) administrators appointed by the Superintendent or his/her designee. 3. The committee shall establish by mutual agreement a meeting calendar, tasks for the committee to complete, and timelines for the completion of specific tasks. 4. The committee shall be responsible for jointly reviewing and recommending the policy, procedures, and processes, including the evaluation instrument, for teacher evaluation. 5. All decisions of the committee shall be achieved by consensus. 6. The committee shall review and consider for approval all teacher student learning objectives (SLOs). 7. The committee shall not have the authority to negotiate wages, hours, or terms and conditions of employment. 8. Members of the committee shall receive release time for committee work and training. 9. Any administrator-approved committee work performed outside of the contractual work day shall be paid $25.00 per hour. 10. The committee shall be responsible for recommending whether an employee is considered to be under the OTES evaluation procedure or non-OTES evaluation procedure.
