OTES. 1. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.111, a standards-based teacher evaluation policy must be adopted by the Board and thereafter included in this Agreement, and all subsequent renewals and extensions, for application to OTES teachers. Prior to implementation of the policy for OTES teachers, any material effects of that policy on terms and conditions of employment must be bargained by the parties in accordance with law. Similarly, any subsequent revisions to that policy which materially affect terms and conditions of employment must be bargained prior to implementation.
OTES. 1. For OTES teachers, the District will utilize the Board’s standards-based teacher evaluation system set forth in Appendix A, which includes ODE-recommended forms for the evaluation procedure, which shall be updated annually, if necessary based on ODE revisions.
OTES stands for the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System as adopted by the Ohio State Board of Education in 2011, or as otherwise modified by the State Board of Education.
OTES. Any significant differences on evaluation(s), as set forth below, should be thoroughly analyzed and resolved, if possible. In the event the member does not agree with the principal's evaluation, such disagreement shall be filed, in writing, within five (5) days of the principal/member conference. Additional observations may be made by the Superintendent at his/her discretion or at the request of either the principal or member. Violations of and compliance with, evaluation procedures, as set forth below, are subject to the grievance procedure, Article III. The substance of an evaluation that directly results from an evaluator's following the OTES model may not be grieved. Evaluation for supplemental and regular bargaining unit member contracts shall be kept in separate envelopes in the personnel file.
OTES. The Board’s Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES) policy adopted under Section 3319.111 of the Ohio Revised Code appears in a freestanding separate document that is hereby incorporated by reference as part of this Agreement.

OTES. The Board policy and guidelines will be provided to all OTES teachers as contained in the Buckeye Evaluation Handbook, which will also be accessible to bargaining unit members online.

OTES. For OTES teachers, the District will utilize the Board's standards- based teacher evaluation system set forth in Appendix "L", which has been mutually developed by the parties. All matters contained within the system shall be considered grievable under the grievance procedure contained within this contract and in accordance with the provisions of this Article. Any revisions to the Board's standards-based teacher evaluation system must be bargained prior to implementation to the extent provided by law, and nothing herein shall diminish any right of the Association to strike under Ohio Revised Code Section 4117.14(D)(2).
