Common use of Other Injury Clause in Contracts

Other Injury. When an employee suffers an on-the-job injury that prevents the employee from reporting to work, but does not qualify for Article 11 Section 1 severe injury benefits, the employee may use accumulated sick leave and accumulated annual leave to make up the difference between the base salary and the payment received from worker’s compensation benefits.
