Other Leave Types. F9.27 Where an employee provides a certificate from a registered medical practitioner or registered health professional operating within their scope of practice for a personal illness or injury or for the purpose of providing care or support for a member of the employee’s family who is ill or injured or who is experiencing an unexpecetd emergency during a period of absence on purchased leave, the employee will have the purchased leave re-credited for that period covered by the certificate, and substituted by personal leave.
