Our Shared Commitments. All parties to this agreement are determined to fulfil their respective waste functions and responsibilities in a concerted and co-operative way so that, wherever possible, the activities of one complement and enhance the activities of the others, for the benefit of all residents, businesses and visitors to Buckinghamshire.
Our Shared Commitments. We promise to do our best to provide you with a bountiful selection each week. The quantity of the fruits, and vegetables, however, may vary from week-to-week due to extreme weather, insects, or other production factors despite our best efforts.

B. Sharing in the Reward of Crop Surplus In addition to our CSA, our farm sells to Xxxx Farmers Market and local schools. Although production is not segregated, our CSA receives priority. After filling our CSA share with the week’s harvest first, the remainder is sold to our other markets. We may experiment with new varieties so that we can increase diversity. These crops will be distributed as equitably as possible but all members of the CSA may not receive all items or all CSA members may receive a small sample of these varieties. This allows us to select a consistently full and diverse share to our customers while avoiding over-delivering any one product.
Our Shared Commitments. We promise to do our best to provide you with a bountiful basket each week, however, the quantity of produce may vary from season to season due to extreme weather, insects or other production factors despite our best efforts. By joining our CSA, you are agreeing to share the risk of crop failure with us and other share- holders. In the unlikely event of a crop failure, our procedure is as follows: If only a small portion of crops fail, we compensate for the failed crops by filling your share with other crops grown on the farm that are ready for harvest at that time. We may cover for a crop loss by buying in from other farms with the same certifications as our farm. This may not be a feasible option for all crops because of cost or widespread failure. Our Farm is responsible for delivering your share to your doorstep each week.

B. Sharing in the Reward of Crop Surplus Our farm is not exclusively a CSA farm, but much of our production is planned for the CSA. When crops are especially abundant, we pack as much as possible into your share. However, we do not want to overwhelm our members or deliver so much produce that it goes to waste. When we feel that members have received enough of certain crops, we will handle the surplus by donating it to a food pantry or shelter/inviting members to harvest themselves/setting it out for member pick-up/etc.

B. Sharing in the Reward of Crop Surplus In addition to the CSA, we sell produce at our stand and to restaurants. Although production is not segregated, our CSA receives priority. After filling our CSA share with the week’s harvest first, the remainder is sold to our other markets. In the event of a crop surplus, CSA members will receive extra produce as part of their weekly share. This is a good time to can or freeze excess produce. We are glad to provide advice on preserving your produce for winter.
