Payment for period of leave (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave shall be made in one of the following ways:
Application for Sabbatical Leave Application for sabbatical leave for professional study, research, or professional improvement must be made in writing at least sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of such requested leave. Ineligible for Sick Leave Employees are not eligible for sick leave with pay for any period during which they are on leave of absence without pay, under suspension, on strike, on layoff, or locked out.
Vacation and Sick Leave Administration (a) for the purposes of administration of clauses 34.11 and 34.12, where an employee does not work the same number of hours each week, the normal workweek shall be the weekly average calculated on a monthly basis.
TERMINATION FOR NON-ADHERENCE OF COUNTY LOBBYIST ORDINANCE The Contractor, and each County Lobbyist or County Lobbying firm as defined in County Code Section 2.160.010 retained by the Contractor, shall fully comply with the County’s Lobbyist Ordinance, County Code Chapter 2.160. Failure on the part of the Contractor or any County Lobbyist or County Lobbying firm retained by the Contractor to fully comply with the County’s Lobbyist Ordinance shall constitute a material breach of this Master Agreement, upon which the County may in its sole discretion, immediately terminate or suspend this Master Agreement.
Time Off in Lieu of Payment for Overtime An employee may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take time off in lieu of payment of overtime at a time or times agreed with the Company. Overtime taken as time off during ordinary time hours will be taken at the ordinary time rate, that is an hour for each hour worked.
Period of Leave (a) The period of leave will be for 12 months, from 1 January to 31 December.
Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.
Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
