Common use of Out of District Transfer Tenure Track Clause in Contracts

Out of District Transfer Tenure Track. For a XXX in full-time service who is appointed on or after July 1, 2013 and who had previously attained tenure in another school district in this State or in a program of a special education joint agreement in this State as defined in Section 24-11 of the Illinois School Code, the probationary period shall be two school terms of full-time service, provided as fol- lows: the teacher voluntarily resigned or was hon- orably dismissed from the prior school district or program within the three-month period preceding his or her appointment date with the BOARD; the teacher’s last two ratings in the prior school district or program were at least “proficient” and were is- sued after the prior school district’s or program’s implementation date under the Performance Eval- uation Reform Act; and the teacher receives ratings of “excellent” during his or her first two school terms of full-time service with the BOARD.
