Overdraft Transactions Covered. Subject to the opt-in requirement set forth above, if on any day you do not have available funds in your account, the following transactions, which may result in an insufficient or negative balance (“overdrafts”), may be covered under our service: checks, debit card purchases, online or other electronic funds transfers, ACH debits and other payments or withdrawals authorized by you, account service charges, pre-authorized drafts, and any other items that may be posted to your account. If we pay an item, we will pay the item in the order it is presented or received by us, regardless of amount and in accordance with our normal operating procedures for such checks, items or transactions.

We reserve the right to pay any checks or items in the order they are presented or received and in accordance with our normal operating procedures for such checks, items, or transactions.

  • Overdraft Liability The following actions may be taken by us if we receive a draft or other item drawn against your account and there are insufficient funds based on the available balance in your account to cover the draft or item: • Cover the draft or item in accordance with the terms of any written overdraft plan that you have established with us. • Pay the draft or item and create an overdraft to your account. Any negative balance on your account is immediately due and payable, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may place a hold on balances in any other account you have with us until the overdraft is paid or we may set-off the amount of the overdraft against any of your other accounts in accordance with the terms of this agreement, unless prohibited by applicable law. • Return the draft or item unpaid. We may, at our option and without notice to you, refuse to pay any draft or item if it would create an overdraft, even though we may have previously established a pattern of honoring such drafts or items. We have no obligation to notify you before we decide to either pay a draft or item that creates an overdraft or to dishonor a draft or item that is drawn against insufficient available funds. Drafts or other transfers or payment orders that are drawn against insufficient funds may be subject to a service charge set forth in the Fee Schedule. National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) Rules allow Originating Depository Financial Institutions to reinitiate/resubmit an ACH debit returned due to NSF or uncollected funds up to two times. If the same draft or other transfer or payment order is submitted a second time, and there are insufficient funds in the account, it may be returned unpaid a second time with a fee assessed on the same item a second time. If we pay a draft or item against insufficient available funds or an overdraft is otherwise created on the account, you agree to pay any overdraft immediately. You agree to reimburse us for the cost and expenses we incur in recovering the overdraft from you, including our reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.

  • Transactions Made in Foreign Currencies If a transaction is made in a foreign currency, we and MasterCard International or VISA International, depending on which card is used, will convert the transaction into a U.S. dollar amount. MasterCard and VISA will act in accordance with their operating regulations or conversion procedures in effect at the time the transaction is processed. Currently, their regulations and procedures provide that the currency conversion rate they use, to determine the transaction amount in U.S. dollar, is either (a) a wholesale market rate, or (b) a government-mandated rate in effect one day prior to the processing date. MasterCard and VISA increase this conversion rate by one percent (1%) and keep this increase as compensation for performing the currency conversion service. We will charge you two percent (2%) of the U.S. dollar amount of the transaction converted from a foreign currency. The currency conversion rate calculated in this manner that is in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the transaction date or posting date. Other Charges. You agree we may assess, in addition to the Interest Charge, the Other Charges below which charges will be earned when assessed and are not subject to refund or rebate. The following fees may be added, as applicable, to the Account and treated as a Purchase as indicated on the Insert:

  • Foreign Transactions Visa. Purchases and cash withdrawals made in foreign currencies will be debited from your account in U.S. dollars. The exchange rate between the transaction currency and the billing currency used for processing international transactions is a rate selected by Visa from a range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate Visa itself receives or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date. The exchange rate used on the processing date may differ from the rate that would have been used on the purchase date or cardholder statement posting date. A fee of 1.00% of the amount of the transaction, calculated in U.S. dollars, will be imposed on all foreign transactions, including purchases, cash withdrawals and credits to your account. A foreign transaction is any transaction that you complete or a merchant completes on your card outside of the United States, with the exception of U.S. military bases, U.S. territories, U.S. embassies or U.S. consulates.

  • Foreign Transactions; Currency Conversion Purchases and cash advances made in foreign currencies will be billed to you in U.S. dollars. The conversion rate in dollars will be a rate selected by the card company from a range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate the card company itself receives, or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date in each instance. All transactions processed outside of the United States (which may include internet transactions) will be charged a foreign transaction fee in the amount disclosed on your Truth-in-Lending Statement (as amended from time to time).

  • Online Banking Transactions At the present time, you may use Online Banking to: • Transfer funds between your savings, checking, and Club accounts. • Withdraw funds from your savings, checking, and Club accounts. • Make loan payments from your savings, checking and Club accounts. • Obtain account balance and transaction history on your savings, checking, and Club accounts. • Obtain information on your loan account balance, transaction history, payment due dates, loan payoff amounts and finance charges. • Review available copies of eStatements and tax information. • Make xxxx payments from your checking account using the Xxxx Pay service. Transactions involving your savings and checking accounts will be subject to the terms of your Membership and Account Agreement. Transactions involving your loan accounts will be subject to your applicable Loan Agreement and Disclosures.

  • Card Transactions (a) Card Network Rules. When accepting payment card Transactions, you must comply with all applicable Card Network Rules, including the Visa Rules specified by Visa, the Mastercard Rules specified by Mastercard, and the Card Network Rules specified by American Express. Each Card Network may amend its Card Network Rules at any time without notice to you.

  • Split Transactions If you do not have enough value loaded on your Card you can instruct the merchant to charge a part of the purchase to the Card and pay the remaining amount with cash or another card. These are called “split transactions.” Some merchants do not allow cardholders to conduct split transactions. Some merchants will only allow you to do a split transaction if you pay the remaining amount in cash. If you fail to inform the merchant that you would like to complete a split transaction before swiping your Card, your Card is likely to be declined.
