Common use of Overload Assignment Clause in Contracts

Overload Assignment. 6.6.1 During any regular semester/term, a Unit Member may, by mutual agreement, assume an overload in accordance with the provisions of Article 8. However, such overload shall be subject to preemption to complete regular contract workloads. 6.6.2 For the purpose of this Article, “overload” means a counseling and guidance assignment within the meaning of section 6.3.1 which exceeds the regular contract workload.
