Common use of Overnight Travel Allowance Clause in Contracts

Overnight Travel Allowance. (1) An employee on an Overnight Temporary Assign- ment may elect either to stay in lodging provided by the Company or to travel (on his/her own time and at his/her own expense) between his/her Resi- dence and the temporary assignment location. If the employee elects not to stay in Company-provided lodging, and subject to the conditions set forth in (2) below, the employee will receive an Overnight Travel Allowance of forty-eight (48) dollars each day on which work is performed and will not be entitled to any Per Diem Allowance or Partial Per Diem Allowance for such day.
