Overtime Requests and Rotation. Supervisors may require that employees work overtime. Overtime work shall be voluntary and shall be rotated amongst employees in the classification needed to work overtime on an equal basis. If no one agrees or volunteers to work the overtime, the supervisor may require (mandate) that a qualified employee work the overtime. Such mandated overtime will also be rotated amongst employees in the classification needed to work overtime on an equal basis, as long as the employee(s) are qualified to do the work.
