Common use of Owner Project Manager’s Authority Clause in Contracts

Owner Project Manager’s Authority. The Owner’s Project Manager has the authority to order minor changes in the Work not involving adjustments in the Contract Sum or extension of the Contract Time and not inconsistent with the intent of the Contract Documents. Such changes will be effected by written order signed by the Owner and shall be binding on the Owner and Construction Manager.
