Common use of Ownership of Contract Documents Clause in Contracts

Ownership of Contract Documents. 1.6.1 The Contract Documents, and each of them, shall remain the property of the City unless the City has agreed otherwise with the City’s Representative and/or City Consultant Engineer. The Contractor shall have the right to keep one record set of the Contract Documents upon completion of the Project; provided, however, that in no event shall Contractor use, or permit to be used, any or all of such Contract Documents on other projects without the City's prior written authorization.
