Right to Stop Work. If Contractor fails to correct any defective Work or repeatedly fails to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, Owner shall have the right to order Contractor to stop performing the Work, or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order is eliminated.

Right to Stop Work. If Owner fails to pay to Contractor, within thirty (30) Days after due, any undisputed amount under the Contract Documents, Contractor shall have the right to stop Work after fifteen (15) Days’ additional prior written notice to Owner, until Owner delivers to Contractor such overdue payment, with interest, if interest is required by the Contract Documents.‌
Right to Stop Work. In the event Design/Builder fails or refuses to perform the Work in strict accordance with the Agreement, or is otherwise in breach of this Contract, Owner may, at its option, instruct Design/Builder to cease and desist from performing further Work, or any part thereof. Upon receipt of such instruction from Owner in writing specifying the reasons therefore, Design/Builder shall immediately cease and desist as instructed by Owner and shall not proceed further until the cause for Owner’s instructions has been corrected, no longer exists, or Owner instructs that the Work may resume.

Right to Stop Work. If Owner reasonably believes that Construction Manager is failing to carry out the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, then Owner may order the Construction Manager to stop the Work, or a portion of the Work, until such time as the cause for such stop order has been eliminated. Stop orders shall be issued by Owner’s Project Manager. Owner shall incur no liability for delays occasioned by any Stop-Work Order issued in accordance with this Article.
Right to Stop Work. City’s Project Manager shall have the right to stop any Work on the Project if: (i) City notifies Contractor of a defect in the Work or Deliverables and after such notice, Contractor fails to promptly commence correction of any identified defects in the Work or Deliverables, or (ii) Contractor fails to carry out any portion of the Project in accordance with this Agreement. All stop work orders from the City shall be in writing and signed by City’s Project Manager. City shall specifically state the cause for the order to stop work. Upon receiving a stop work order, Contractor shall immediately cease working on that portion of the Work specified in the order, until the cause for such order has been eliminated. City’s right to stop any work on the Project shall not give rise to a duty on the part of the City to exercise this right for the benefit of Contractor or any other person or entity. In the event City’s Project Manager orders work to be stopped without proper justification, City shall reimburse Contractor for the actual and direct costs incurred by Contractor due to the delay. Furthermore, Contractor will be entitled to a time extension equal to the number of days delay City has caused due to the unjustified work stoppage. In no event will a stop work order extend beyond 30 days.

Right to Stop Work. 6.2.1 If the Contractor persistently fails or refuses to perform the work in accordance with this Contract, the Owner may order the Contractor to stop the work, or any described portion thereof, until the cause for stoppage has been corrected, no longer exists, or the Owner orders that work be resumed. In such event, the Contractor shall immediately obey such order. The stop work order referenced herein must be in writing and must specify in detail the alleged failure of the Contractor in accordance with the contract documents.

Right to Stop Work. Contractor shall have the right to stop work if any payment shall not be made, when due, to Contractor under this Agreement; Contractor may keep the job on hold until all payments due are received. Failure to make payment, within five (5) days from the due date, is a material breach of this Agreement and shall entitle contractor to cease any further work.
