Common use of Packaging and Transportation Clause in Contracts

Packaging and Transportation. 6.1 The Supplier will ensure that the Goods are properly packaged and secured and (where Supplier arranges for shipment) shipped in such a manner that when transported they reach the place of delivery in good condition and can be unloaded there safely. The Supplier is responsible for its own compliance and the compliance of carriers contracted by or on behalf of the Supplier with national, international and/or supranational provisions relating to packaging, safety and shipment. 6.2 The Supplier shall not be entitled to make any amendments to the Goods without the prior written consent of the Buyer. 6.3 If any of the Goods are available for retail, and the Supplier amends or intends to amend the retail equivalent of the Goods, then the Supplier shall notify the Buyer in writing, in which case the Buyer shall be entitled to require the Supplier to make such amendments to the Goods.
