Parental Leave for Adoptive Parents. An Employee who becomes a parent of one or more children through the placement of the child or children in the care of the Employee for the purpose of adoption of the child or children is entitled to an unpaid leave of absence of up to fifty-two (52) weeks. This leave: (a) shall begin on the date coinciding with the arrival of the child or children in the Employee’s home; and (b) shall end not later than fifty-two (52) weeks after the child or children first arrive in the Employee’s home.
