Amended Beckfoot Nessfield Positive Behaviour Policy Children returning Parents are asked to school (Covid19) ‘Good to be Green’ Good behaviour should be held in high esteem by discuss all members of staff and overtly and consistently rewarded and promoted at these safety measures with their child. By sending your child into school, it is taken that you agree with all times. Children need to know when they have been successful. We nurture all our children as we recognise that improved self-esteem leads to improved behaviour. Praise and positive reinforcement is more effective than punishment. All staff will use positive praise statements that tell the child exactly what they have done well. This will reinforce the positive behaviours we want children to demonstrate. When children have been exceptional they will be awarded a Good to Be Gold award on their Good to Be Green chart to reinforce exceptional behaviour to their peers. At the end of each day one child will be awarded the “Star of the Day” for showing consistently good behaviourmeasures listed above.
