Part-Time Custodians. Custodians employed less than full time will work their regular shift for the ten (10) months September to June, and in July and August will work as required by the Board.

Part-Time Custodians. Section 1 Part-Time Custodians (defined as employees of contractors, not Board employees) will work a schedule of twenty-one (21) hours per week. Section 2 The total number of Part-time Custodians employed shall not exceed forty-two (42), all but six of whom shall be employed only at new construction sites as noted in Section 1 hereof, until the retirement or resignation of seven (7) Full-time Custodians, at which time the number of Part-time Custodians employed shall not exceed fifty-six (56), pursuant to the following procedure: (a) upon the retirement of each of the (7) Full-time Custodians, two (2) Part-time Custodians may be hired for a total of fourteen (14) new Part-time Custodians; (b) notwithstanding the restrictions on assignment set forth in Section 1 above, upon hiring the fourteen (14) new Part-time Custodians may be assigned to any facility. In addition, as referenced above, notwithstanding the restrictions on assignment set forth in Section 1 above, upon the effective date of this agreement six (6) of the pre-existing (42) Part-time Custodians may be assigned to any facility; and (c) upon the retirement of each of the first seven (7) Full-time Custodians, notwithstanding the restrictions on assignment set forth in Section 1 above, one (1) more of the pre-existing (42) Part-time Custodians may be assigned to any facility, for a maximum of thirteen (13) of the pre-existing (42) Part-time Custodians that upon the retirement or resignation of seven (7) custodians may be assigned to any facility. All part-time employees shall be supervised by full time bargaining unit members. Part-Time Custodians. 1. The number of part-tie custodians is capped at three (3) employees (one per school).
Part-Time Custodians. Part-time custodians will work when their services are needed as determined by the Director of Finance & Facilities. For part-time custodians, a day shall be defined as the number or regularly scheduled hours worked per day. All benefits except as noted in ARTICLE XVII, Section 2 provided by this agreement shall be pro-rated for part-time custodians.

In no event will part-time custodians be used to supplant the custodial work force. Part-time custodians in operating buildings will not be permitted to work in operating buildings between July 1 and August 15 of each year without the prior written consent of the Union. 4. In no event will the District employ more than 18 part-time workers without prior written authorization of the Union. 5. Part-time custodians will not be permitted to work more than four hours daily. 6. Part-time custodians will not be permitted to work on holidays as listed in the Agreement or on weekends without prior written approval of the Union. 7. Part-time custodians will be represented by the Union, and the District will make dues deductions as outlined in the Agreement. 8. Part-time custodians will be paid at the rate of $14.77 per hour through June 30, 2012, and shall receive the same percentage salary increase as negotiated for other members of the Union for the duration of the Agreement. 9.   • SUB-CUSTODIANS Upon receipt of Proper Instructions, the Custodian shall on behalf of a Fund appoint one or more banks, trust companies or other entities located in the United States and designated in the Proper Instructions to act as a sub-custodian for the purposes of effecting such transactions as may be designated by the Fund in the Proper Instructions. The Custodian may place and maintain each Fund’s foreign securities with foreign banking institution sub-custodians employed by the Custodian or foreign securities depositories, all in accordance with the applicable provisions of Sections 4 and 5. An entity acting in the capacity of Underlying Transfer Agent is not an agent or sub-custodian of the Custodian for purposes of this Agreement.

  • Custodians The Trustees shall at all times employ a custodian or custodians meeting the qualifications for custodians for portfolio securities of investment companies contained in the 1940 Act, as custodian with respect to the assets of the Trust. Any custodian shall have authority as agent of the Trust as determined by the custodian agreement or agreements, but subject to such restrictions, limitations and other requirements, if any, as may be contained in the By-Laws of the Trust and the 1940 Act, including without limitation authority: (i) to hold the securities owned by the Trust and deliver the same upon written order; (ii) to receive any receipt for any moneys due to the Trust and deposit the same in its own banking department (if a bank) or elsewhere as the Trustees may direct; (iii) to disburse such funds upon orders or vouchers; (iv) if authorized by the Trustees, to keep the books and accounts of the Trust and furnish clerical and accounting services; and (v) if authorized to do so by the Trustees, to compute the net income or net asset value of the Trust; all upon such basis of compensation as may be agreed upon between the Trustees and the custodian. The Trustees may also authorize each custodian to employ one or more sub-custodians from time to time to perform such of the acts and services of the custodian and upon such terms and conditions, as may be agreed upon between the custodian and such sub-custodian and approved by the Trustees, provided that in every case such sub-custodian shall meet the qualifications for custodians contained in the 1940 Act.

  • The Custodians The Custodian shall be subject at all times and in all respects to the directions of the Depositary and shall be responsible solely to it. Any Custodian may resign and be discharged from its duties hereunder by notice of such resignation delivered to the Depositary at least 30 days prior to the date on which such resignation is to become effective. If upon such resignation there shall be no Custodian acting hereunder, the Depositary shall, promptly after receiving such notice, appoint a substitute custodian or custodians, each of which shall thereafter be a Custodian hereunder. The Depositary in its discretion may appoint a substitute or additional custodian or custodians, each of which shall thereafter be one of the Custodians hereunder. Upon demand of the Depositary any Custodian shall deliver such of the Deposited Securities held by it as are requested of it to any other Custodian or such substitute or additional custodian or custodians. Each such substitute or additional custodian shall deliver to the Depositary, forthwith upon its appointment, an acceptance of such appointment satisfactory in form and substance to the Depositary. Upon the appointment of any successor depositary hereunder, each Custodian then acting hereunder shall forthwith become, without any further act or writing, the agent hereunder of such successor depositary and the appointment of such successor depositary shall in no way impair the authority of each Custodian hereunder; but the successor depositary so appointed shall, nevertheless, on the written request of any Custodian, execute and deliver to such Custodian all such instruments as may be proper to give to such Custodian full and complete power and authority as agent hereunder of such successor depositary.

  • Separate Grievance File All documents, communications and records dealing with the processing of a grievance shall be filed in a separate grievance file and shall not be kept in the personnel file of any of the participants.

  • Interim Subcustodians Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 5.01 to the contrary, the Custodian shall not be liable to a Fund for any loss, damage or expense suffered or incurred by such Fund or any of its Portfolios resulting from the actions or omissions of an Interim Subcustodian unless such loss, damage or expense is caused by, or results from, the negligence, misfeasance or misconduct of the Custodian; provided however, in the event of any such loss, damage or expense, the Custodian shall take all reasonable steps to enforce such rights as it may have against such Interim Subcustodian to protect the interests of the Funds and the Portfolios.
